The Johnstown office of The EADS Group, Inc. is seeking applicants for Field Inspectors for water/wastewater systems. Prefer experience in utility, water and sewer line construction. Applicants must be familiar with plans and specifications. Good math and communication skills are essential and applicants must be able to work well with the public. Responsibilities will include maintaining accurate records and files. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. The EADs Group is accepting resumes from applicants with a BS degree in Geology or related field for an entry level, temporary position in our Clarion office. Must be able to identify soil/rock types, provide written drill logs, and be able to keep organized records. Work will be performed primarily out-of-doors logging split spoon and core samples with the drilling contractor. Work hours will depend on the drillers schedule, with overtime and possible weekend hours. Must be a registered PLS in Pennsylvania or be able to obtain registration within one year, and be competent in the use of modern surveying equipment.
